Welcome to Langux Translations Oy ("Company," "we," "our," or "us"). By using our services, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read them carefully before proceeding.

1. Scope of Services

Langux Translations Oy provides professional translation services, including but not limited to:

  • Legal, medical, technical, and general translations

  • Certified translations

  • Marketing and SEO translations

  • Website and app localization

  • AI translation editing

  • Subtitling and transcription

  • Express translations (available at an additional fee)

We reserve the right to decline service requests at our discretion.

2. Payment Terms

  • All services must be paid in full before translation work begins.

  • Payments are processed securely through our designated payment providers.

  • Refunds are not provided once the service has been completed unless a formal complaint is submitted and an internal review determines that the issue warrants a refund. We will assess the complaint carefully and, if the identified problem is validated, a refund may be issued at our discretion.

3. Revisions & Quality Assurance

  • Each translation includes one free revision if the client is unsatisfied with the result.

  • If concerns persist after the revision, we will conduct an additional strict internal review to ensure quality.

  • Any additional revisions beyond this may be subject to extra charges.

4. Client Responsibilities

By submitting content for translation, you confirm that:

  • You have the legal right to use and request translation of the content.

  • The content does not violate any applicable laws or third-party rights.

  • You provide accurate instructions and relevant reference materials when needed.

We are not liable for any consequences arising from incorrectly provided or unauthorized content.

5. Confidentiality & Data Protection

  • All translation materials are handled with strict confidentiality.

  • Our Privacy Policy governs how we collect, store, and process your data. By using our services, you agree to the terms outlined in our Privacy Policy.

6. Prohibited Content

We do not provide translations for content that:

  • Promotes or supports terrorism (we do accept neutral or academic discussions on extremism).

  • Contains explicit or excessive violence (e.g., torture, extreme gore).

  • Encourages human trafficking or exploitation (we do accept content opposing these issues).

  • Contains child abuse or exploitation materials (we do accept content advocating against such practices).

  • Is heavily pornographic in nature (mild or occasional references may be accepted on a case-by-case basis).

  • Spreads intentionally misleading or deceptive information without a deeper cause or context.

We reserve the right to refuse service for any content that violates our policies.

7. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of Finland.

  • Any disputes should first be attempted to be resolved through negotiation. If an agreement cannot be reached, disputes will be handled in Finnish courts.

8. Service Termination

Langux Translations Oy reserves the right to refuse or terminate service at any time if:

  • The client violates these Terms.

  • The requested content is found to be illegal or highly offensive.

  • Payment is not received.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use of our services after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
